Detoxification with sea salt baths

Meersalz Bad

Sea salt - beneficial for the body as a full and foot bath

It's always amazing how many simple, effective, and regenerative methods nature—our Mother Earth—gives us. Like sea salt, for example.

Sea salt

Sea salt baths have a long tradition and are a wonderful way to relax our bodies. They can be easily integrated into our daily routine.

And this is how it is done:
Use approximately 500 grams of sea salt for a full bath.

Run a bath and dissolve the sea salt in it.
You can increase the feel-good effect by adding 250 grams of baking soda to the bath water.
The bath water should be around 38°C.
Please pay attention to how your body feels.
What temperature feels good.

The bath should last at least 45 minutes. Only then will the detoxifying effect begin to take effect. Surrounding the body with an alkaline bath helps draw out toxins.
While bathing, use a nice, comfortable body brush or scrub sponge and brush the entire body several times.
The brushing direction is from bottom to top.

The bathing time can be extended as desired. Up to three hours is possible, depending on time and patience. For such a long bathing time, you can add warm water and increase the amount of sea salt if necessary. If you get thirsty, please drink only clear, pure water.
Bath time can be spent pleasantly with a good book or a nice CD (music, podcast).
You can initially take these soothing sea salt baths 2-3 times a week.
If you bathe regularly over a long period of time, you can reduce it to once a week and plan this bathing time as a fixed "time out".
You can also make it a nice ritual.

The beauty of long, extended sea salt baths is that the skin naturally replenishes its oils. You can feel the water beading up and rolling off your skin.

At the beginning of these baths, you'll often notice that the drained bathwater leaves a dark, dirty-brown residue in the tub. Then rejoice! Your body has benefited from the sea salt bath.

If your body already produces oils naturally, applying moisturizer is not recommended. Otherwise, your skin will be happy if it can breathe without cream. If your skin is unpleasantly dry, you can lightly moisturize it with coconut oil.

If you don't have a tub to take a full bath, there is a wonderful and simple alternative: a sea salt foot bath .
Since the area of skin available for detoxification is smaller, you can take a sea salt foot bath daily. Even though the excretory area is quite small, the feet offer a wonderful alternative, as the soles of the feet have approximately 600 sweat glands that can effectively detoxify.
Place 2 tablespoons of sea salt into a small footbath. If desired, add a level tablespoon of baking soda and soak in the sea salt for at least 20 minutes. This can be easily accomplished while performing sedentary activities, and you can do this more often at home.
A lot of toxins and dense energies accumulate in the soles of the feet.
There are special foot baths with knobs so that the feet can also be massaged at the same time.

Our body wants to be seen and always well cared for and it loves the minerals from sea salt.

You can also do a wonderful exercise while bathing.
Send your awareness to every part of your body. Our body wants to be seen. Start by moving your awareness to the palm of your hand, into each finger, the surface of your hand, then your wrist, forearm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder, hip, and so on.
