The red wine Pera doce (translated as sweet pear) is top wine. Something special was created in small quantities from the Syrah, Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet grapes.
With a garnet red color, a wonderfully fruity aroma slightly reminiscent of mint, vanilla and black chocolate. The taste is silky and cultivated, with very fine, ripe tannins and a long finish. Matured in French oak barrels.
Growing region: Alentejo.
The red wine Pera Doce Premium won a gold medal in 2020 at the 21º “Grand International Wine Award Mundus Vini in Germany, where 4300 international wines were evaluated.
Premium wine differs from Reserva wine in that it has a higher quality level and often a smaller production quantity.
