This salmon-colored rosé wine from the renowned Península de Setúbal wine region impresses with a seductive, fruity aroma of young red fruits—particularly strawberries and red currants. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and elegant, with a pleasantly refreshing finish.
The grapes (Castelão, Touriga Nacional, Aragonês) come from the Fernando Pó vineyards, a privileged area with sandy soils and a mineral subsoil. The Mediterranean-continental climate promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Winery: Casa Ermelinda Freitas – a family-run winery with a long tradition since 1920 and over 1,000 international awards.
Recommended serving temperature: 12 °C – a refreshing treat even at 10 °C in summer.
Shelf life: up to 4 years.
Tasting suggestion: Excellent as an aperitif, suitable with fish, pasta, Asian cuisine and fresh salads.
