The flesh varies in color from yellowish to pink. If the fruits ripen for longer, the white grapefruit may also develop red cheeks and rosy flesh. The typical taste is a bit bitter. Our fruits ripen on the tree for up to over a year and are always fresh and harvested by hand. The fruits that ripen into summer often already have sunspots. However, the fruit inside is richer due to the long ripening period.
