Bee pollen is a high-quality natural product that has been valued for its valuable ingredients for centuries. Bees collect the pollen while gathering nectar and form the familiar pollen bags. These little powerhouses contain valuable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and secondary plant substances.
How is bee pollen produced?
When collecting nectar, the bees come into contact with the flowers' stamens. The fine pollen remains trapped in the bees' hair. The bees then comb out this pollen with their legs and mix it with some nectar, forming the typical pollen stalks. At the hive entrance, these stalks are scraped off through a special mesh and carefully collected.
