Cinnamon is obtained from the dried inner bark of the cinnamon tree. Thick branches are cut off from it. After the outer bark has been scraped off, the aromatic inner bark is carefully removed and dried. Cinnamon sticks are particularly suitable for refining coffee, grog, punch, tea, sangria, etc
