Ceylon cinnamon has a mild and fine taste, nicely balanced, it does not overpower the taste of the dishes. This Ceylon cinnamon is a purely natural product, no flavor enhancers or additional cinnamon oil are added.
Good to use in pastries, desserts (who doesn't know rice pudding and cinnamon), coffee, tea, smoothies or muesli.
Ceylon cinnamon bark is obtained from the bark of the tree's young branches. The bark is freed from cork and other tissues. Cinnamon bark contains an aromatic-smelling essential oil (“cinnamon oil”) with cinnamaldehyde as the main component; also catechin tannins and caffeic acid derivatives.
Ceylon cinnamon naturally contains less coumarin. The amount of coumarin naturally contained here is far below that of cassia cinnamon and is described as harmless.

If you cut off the sealing seam at the top (approx. 1 cm from the top edge) with scissors, the bag can be easily closed again in daily use thanks to its ZIP closure. The goods are well protected from the penetration of moisture and light. The bag stands through the round bottom fold.
Minimum shelf life: according to the date stated on the packaging for an originally packaged, unopened packaging unit.
