The rare Timut pepper grows wild in the mountainous regions of Nepal and is traditionally harvested by hand. Its unique aroma is reminiscent of fresh grapefruit, combined with a pleasant spiciness and a slightly numbing tingling sensation on the tongue.
Thanks to its intense, fruity-citrus flavor, Timut pepper is also known as grapefruit pepper or Nepalese Szechuan pepper. It's perfect for refining fish, poultry, desserts, or cocktails.
