Portugal for the cup.
An Arabica-Robusta bean dream. Here the Arabica bean kisses the Robusta bean in the spirit of Portuguese coffee culture.
This particularly aromatic coffee through a medium roast with elegance and intensity of the aromas of Arabica coffee, complemented by the presence of Robusta coffee.
Arabica coffee grows under ideal climatic conditions and is considered one of the highest quality coffee varieties in the world. The plants are sensitive to high temperatures, so they prefer to grow at altitudes of 900 to 2000 m above sea level. Growth is slower due to lower temperatures and altitude. This means the beans have more time to develop an intense aroma before harvest. The additional effort for cultivation and harvesting is the reason for the higher rating of Arabica beans.

🧊 Storage:

To properly store roasted coffee beans, we have put together a few tips for you:

  1. Container: Use an airtight glass or ceramic container to store the beans. Make sure the container is clean and dry before adding the beans.

  2. Light and Heat: Store beans in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as stoves or radiators. Heat and light can affect the taste of the beans.

  3. Air: Air is the enemy of freshly roasted coffee beans because they absorb flavors. Always keep the container tightly sealed and airtight and avoid frequent opening.

  4. Grind: Grind the beans immediately before infusing to get the best flavor. Ground coffee loses its aroma and freshness more quickly.

  5. Shelf life: In Germany it is permitted to specify a minimum shelf life of a maximum of 2 years on coffee beans. However, roasted coffee beans can still be kept for 1-2 years even after the best-before date has passed, if stored correctly.

By applying our tips, you will have the right basis for storing your coffee treasures.
