General information about Piri Piri / Chili products:
whether fresh or dried, or in sauces:
Always store chili products in a child-safe manner and keep them away from children when processing them.
Explain to your children why, a mere ban only makes them curious. The best protection is the explanation and the correct exemplary workmanship/use to show.
You should definitely wear protective gloves when handling and using very hot chili peppers/products.
    Avoid skin contact.
    Above all, protect your eyes.
Clean hands and the dishes used well.

The best first aid (in our experience) if it happens:
    in case of eye contact:
Contact an emergency doctor immediately, and under no circumstances wash it with water!

For burning in the mouth and esophagus:
Eat a piece of white bread or toast with as fatty cream cheese or yogurt as possible.
Definitely no water, that would just spread the spiciness.
Then you'd better have an ice-cold beer. The active ingredient in chili, capsaicin, is fat-soluble.
