This air-dried pancetta from black pig convinces with its delicate seasoning and the excellent quality of the meat. The balanced proportion of fat and muscle ensures a tender mouthfeel and an intense aroma – ideal for antipasti or for refining numerous dishes.
Known as "Alentejo bacon," Paia de Toucinho is made from the belly fat of free-range black pigs. Traditional processing and slow maturation create a particularly aromatic product with characteristic depth.
Its special quality lies in the combination of an old breed, free-range farming, and artisanal production. The meat of the Porco Preto is naturally more aromatic and has a richer texture. This sets this pancetta significantly apart from conventional products.
