Ingredients for the recipe:

Beetroot powder , 1 heaped teaspoon, or 2 teaspoons if desired.
Maca powder , 1 heaped teaspoon, please smooth out as it tends to form lumps.
Freshly squeezed orange juice, approx. 300ml

Preparation:

Put beetroot powder and maca powder in a glass.
Squeeze the orange juice directly into the glass or pour it in, stir well - done.

Beetroot is rich in antioxidants. These can strengthen cells and blood vessels and support heart regeneration and the immune system. It is even said to help with high blood pressure by dilating constricted blood vessels.

It can also have a blood-purifying effect, deacidify the organism and stimulate the metabolism.

Beets are rich in minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and iron, as well as B vitamins, vitamin C, and folic acid. The intense red pigment betanin is also used as a coloring agent in the food industry.

Maca powder is said to revitalize, combat fatigue, and strengthen the immune system. It provides the body with important omega-3 fatty acids.
It contains small amounts of selenium and magnesium, but it also boasts vitamin C, vitamin E, and B vitamins.
Maca powder has a slightly sweet taste and is therefore delicious in juices or smoothies.

Freshly squeezed orange juice contains about 400 to 500 mg of vitamin C per liter. Also worth mentioning are its potassium and folic acid content.

Beetroot originates from the Mediterranean region. Originally just a root, it was then cultivated for a long time to become a tuber.
A special feature of beetroot is its long shelf life. It is said that the tuber gains additional vitamin C during storage.
