In Portuguese folk medicine it is an integral part of every home medicine cabinet and is used both internally and externally. It is also called squid aloe. Our Aloe arborescens come from plant clumps that are at least 10 years old.
One shipping unit is approximately 4-8 sheets.

    More than 270 active ingredients were found, e.g.: vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, E, barbaloin, biotin, chrysophanic acid, folic acid, isobarbaloin, choline, inositol, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, acemannan , essential oils, alosides, amino acids, enzymes, essential fatty acids, flavonoids, tannins, polysaccharides, salicylic acid, saponins.

    The recipe from Dr. Michael Peuser:

    Gel made from 300g aloe vera leaf (barbadensis miller) or (Aloe arborescens with peel),
    500 g pure honey
    4 tablespoons of very high proof strong liquor.
    (The liquor with the honey neutralizes that
    Aloin which is found in the leaf shell).
    For the Aloe vera or Aloe arborescens leaves, use a fine cut to cut off the spines on the right and left edges of the leaves and cut them into small pieces.
    Puree with the honey and schnapps in the blender for 5 minutes.
    Pour into a glass and store in a cool, dark place.
    Take a tablespoonful 3 times a day, before meals.
    Shelf life about 30 days.
