The manufacturing process uses natural hardening without the use of ovens or stoves.
The products mature due to the region's microclimate, which gradually gives them an exceptional taste.

This project arose from the desire of a group of Black Pig producers and several elements associated with processing this excellent meat. Driven by their passion for the breed, they have committed themselves to disseminating the high-quality products they produce and making them available on the market.

Production is monitored and controlled on the partner farms, where the animals graze freely and utilize the ecosystem prevalent in the Alentejo region, characterized by holm and cork oak forests. In these forests, the Black Pig feeds on acorns, a fruit rich in oleic acid, which, combined with the breed's genetics, imparts a fatty infiltration to the meat, resulting in a characteristic marbling that makes it unique and healthy, giving it a distinctive taste and aroma.
