The Cavalo Bravo Reserva embodies the originality and wildness of its homeland – the Tejo wine region in Portugal, which has only been officially recognized as a protected quality wine-growing region since 2010. Named after the wild Lusitano horse (Cavalo Bravo = Wild Horse), this red wine impressively reflects the character and power of its region.

Origin & Terroir:

- Region: Tejo, Portugal
- Soil types: limestone, sand, alluvial soil
- Climate: Continental with Atlantic influence
- Careful hand-picking: only grapes without leaves are harvested

Grape varieties & vinification:

- Classic Portuguese varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), Castelao
- Reserva quality: at least 36 months of maturation, of which at least 12 months in oak barrels

Aroma & Taste:

- Ruby red color with purple reflections
- Fruity notes of wild blackberries, strawberries, caramel and fine mocha
- Harmoniously integrated, ripe tannins
- Long, elegant finish
- Expressive, balanced red wine with a lot of personality
