Rooibos tea / Rooibos, cut / Chá de rooibus

Rooibos tea, also known as redbush tea, is a mild, fruity herbal tea from South Africa – completely caffeine-free, making it an ideal treat for any time of day. It impresses with its smooth flavor with a slightly sweet vanilla note and its copper-red color, which is created through traditional fermentation.

The tea comes from the fresh shoots of the rooibos bush, which are harvested in the South African summer (from January onwards). After the leaves are crushed and lightly crushed, natural fermentation begins, which develops the full aroma. The tea is then dried in the sun – gently and traditionally.
