Oregano is rich in essential oils, i.e. flavors and fragrances. Its scent alone is appetizing.
Finely ground oregano, ideal for making marinades and spice mixtures. Oregano is indispensable in tomato sauces, on toasted bread with olive oil and garlic, in vegetable dishes with eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers or peppers or in Mediterranean vegetable stews.
Gently dried and ground at below 40°C.
