Olive oil Virgin Extra / Herdade do Esporão / Azeite virgem extra, 750ml

An olive oil with a fresh, soft and harmonious profile, with a good balance of fruity aromas typical of Alentejo olives.

The olives arrive at the Esporão olive mill a few hours after harvest, separated by variety, and processed immediately. Extraction begins with rapid crushing of the fruit, followed by passage through an active exchanger, a system that shortens extraction time and preserves the aromas of the varieties that characterize this oil. The pulp is centrifuged, and the oil is mechanically separated from the olive pomace, which is immediately filtered and bottled. The oil is extracted cold, at a maximum temperature of 26ºC.

The olive oil has a fruity aroma, reminiscent of ripe green olives, with notes of fruit, grass, and leaves.
The taste of this olive oil is fresh, slightly bitter and spicy with an aftertaste reminiscent of dried fruit.
The olive oil is versatile and ideal for seasoning, cooking and frying, as well as for flavoring soups and baked dishes.
