The orange-gold berry, grown in South America, is known for its high nutrient content. Cape gooseberries (Physalis) have a variety of different names such as the golden berry, Andean berry, Andean cherry, Aztec berry or Peruvian cherry, to name a few. Cape gooseberries have a rich content of vitamins, such as vitamin C, B1, provitamin A, they contain bioflavonoids and iron. The Physalis grow on small herbaceous bushes that are often only 0.5-1.5 m high. Obtained in the highlands of Peru, Cape gooseberries are harvested and sorted by hand. This guarantees one of the best qualities. These Cape gooseberries are a purely natural product, without any additives, without sugar, without preservatives.
Cape gooseberries are cleaned in natural water and dried gently (45°C). This process preserves their natural raw materials and valuable nutrients.
Sweet and sour in taste. Dried physalis are deliciously soft to the bite and have an excellent taste thanks to their slight acidity and their special aroma.
