This fruit is called Buddha's hand because its shape resembles fingers. The whole fruit, consisting only of the peel, is eaten. This original fruit lacks pulp and juice. However, the fruit is particularly aromatic, and when eaten directly, it has a refreshing citrus flavor, especially when the fruit is still green. The peel tastes sweeter and less bitter than that of the familiar lemon. It's wonderfully aromatic in salads. Chopped finely or grated in muesli, or caramelized over pudding, the pieces add a rich flavor.
Buddha's hand can be used in both green and yellow.
Each fruit is unique and looks different.
