The curvy sister of Avocado Hass.
Pinkerton avocados are characterized by their characteristic elongated, curvy shape and often slightly curved stem, which gives them an interesting appearance. Thanks to their comparatively smaller pit, they often offer more creamy flesh—a nice complement to the popular Hass variety.

The Pinkerton avocado impresses with its mild, delicate, and creamy texture, making it versatile. It often grows larger than the Hass avocado, making it perfect for those who enjoy a little more fruit.

General information about avocados:
Our avocados are always harvested firm, yet at optimal ripeness. They don't ripen on the tree, but rather, like bananas, only after harvest. To promote the ripening process, they should be stored at room temperature, ideally between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Once they have reached optimal ripeness and the skin yields under light pressure, they are ready to eat. They can then be refrigerated to extend their shelf life.

Here you buy directly from the farmer.
We are one of the few producers who actually
own and operate our own avocado plantation! From planting and caring for the trees, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your door.
What can you look forward to:
You'll receive freshly harvested, natural avocados. If you order from our shop today, the fruit will still be hanging on our trees. The fruit will only be harvested for your order.

❤️What we care about ❤️
To be clear again: the natural fruits we send you are generally not available at this stage of ripeness, without ethylene fumigation and toxic anti-mold dipping baths. And for good reason:
As producers, we lose a significant portion of our production due to late harvesting. Some fruits may not "make it" to transport, and you're also experiencing the delicate balance between ripe fruit and natural decay.
The taste, however, is convincing!
Be clear: You're ordering natural fruit, not industrial goods. We don't oppose the natural coexistence that should exist in an ecosystem. With us, you won't find a monoculture plantation, but rather a large "garden" in harmony with nature. An oasis for humans and animals. Therefore, it's important to store the fruit in a cool, dry place (1-6°C in the refrigerator).
You'll truly taste the love we put into growing our fruit. ❤

The pulp contains approx. 23% unsaturated fatty acids,
And in addition to their vegetable fats, a large amount of vitamins such as vitamin B (B1 and B29), vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, biotin, lutein, lycopene, zeaxanthin and calcium.

For 100g of pulp you can estimate around 168-230 kcal (670-921 kJ).

It is not entirely coincidental that butter and avocado have similar properties. Both have a relatively high fat content. Here, however, the emphasis is on relative: while 100 g of butter or margarine contains at least 82 g of fat with a high proportion of saturated fatty acids, 100 g of avocado pulp has around 15-30 g of fat, which however consists of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
