Avocados Bacon are one of the first varieties in autumn.
The oval fruit impresses with a thin, smooth light green skin and a pleasantly creamy, slightly nutty flesh. Its mild taste harmonizes perfectly in a variety of dishes without dominating.

The buttery texture makes the Bacon avocado particularly tender and smooth – which is why it is also affectionately called the "Bacon avocado". In our experience, the Bacon variety ripens faster than the other varieties of our avocados.

General information about avocados:
Our fruits are always harvested hard, but at optimal picking ripeness. Avocados do not ripen on the tree. Like bananas, avocados only ripen after harvest, at room temperature. To support the ripening process, they should be stored at room temperature, ideally between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. As soon as they have reached their optimal ripeness and the skin gives way under light pressure, they are ready to eat. They can then be stored in the refrigerator to extend their shelf life by 1-2 days.
