Sweet and strongly aromatic, licorice-like. For tea, red cabbage, beetroot salad, fruit salad, bread products, plum and plum jam, Christmas baking, sweet soups, aniseed cookies, honey cake.
It prevents bad breath and strengthens “Agni”, the digestive fire.
Anise seeds mainly contain essential oils with the main component anethole.
