Brandy / Aguardente vínica, 700ml

Aguardente Vínica Aliança Velha is a traditional Portuguese brandy from the Bairrada region, aged for at least three years in Portuguese and American oak barrels. With its golden hue, complex aroma, and smooth, velvety taste, it is a classic among Portuguese brandies.

The nose reveals notes of roasted coffee, almonds, and dried fruit, accompanied by delicate floral accents. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rounded, with an elegant finish that gains additional freshness from subtle oak notes.

It is best enjoyed at 18–20 °C, neat or on ice; alternatively, it is also excellent as a base for sophisticated cocktails.

With its alcohol content of 38% vol., Aliança Velha is a brandy created for both everyday enjoyment and special moments – an authentic piece of Portuguese tradition and a popular classic.

Here in Portugal, coffee is often combined with this brandy. The order is then "café com cherinho," which means something like: coffee with a special aroma.
