The Duas Encostas Signature Dão DOC Vinhas Velhas red wine is a particularly characterful Portuguese red wine. It is made from the few grapes of old vines ( vinhas velhas ) that thrive in the barren granite soils of the Dão region. These grapes produce especially concentrated and aromatic wines.

In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose unfolds complex aromas of ripe dark berries, plum, and cherry, accompanied by delicate notes of violet, spice, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced with velvety tannins, lively acidity, and a long, harmonious finish.

Serving suggestion:
Ideal with hearty meat dishes, game, lamb, or aged cheese. Decanting the wine before serving is recommended. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C
