Rooibos tea, rooibos, cut, green / Chá de rooibos verde

Green Rooibos tea is the untreated, unfermented version of classic Rooibos tea – caffeine-free, particularly mild in taste and exceptionally rich in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and trace elements.

In contrast to the fermented version, green rooibos tea is processed particularly gently: After harvesting, the rooibos branches are cut directly, loosely bundled, and immediately air-dried without adding water. Continuous turning during the drying process prevents fermentation, thus preserving the natural plant compounds, especially polyphenols, in high concentrations.

Its delicately bitter, slightly grassy aroma is reminiscent of mild black tea, but is much more digestible – ideal for health-conscious connoisseurs.
