Dona Antonia Tawny Port has a beautiful red color with intense hues that hint at its slow maturation in oak barrels. Its bouquet is intense and rich with notes of very ripe fruits: plum, apricot, and floral hints. Complex, spicy, and nutty notes arise from the oxidation in the oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and flavorful, very well-balanced, and combines elegance with a delicate yet lingering finish. It is produced by the renowned Ferreira winery, known for its tradition and quality.
Grape varieties: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional,Tinta Barroca,Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão,Tinta Amarela.
A very versatile port wine, often served as a dessert wine with appetizers, but also goes well with sweets and cheese.
