Brazil nuts from the rainforests of Bolivia.
The Brazil nut is often referred to as the vegetarian steak.
The Brazil nuts are untreated and suitable for raw food and vegan diets.

Since Brazil nuts are highly susceptible to mold (aflatoxins), all nut kernels
are inspected for contamination under special UV lamps.
All batches are documented once again and tested for residues by our importer.

Strictly speaking, the Brazil nuts originating from the rainforests of Bolivia
are not nuts, but the seeds from the fruit capsules, which can weigh up to 3 kg, of a tree that reaches heights of up to 60 meters. 
Cultivation on plantations has not been possible to date. 

In accordance with the EU Organic Regulation, the nuts are not treated
with chemical or synthetic agents.
