The oranges have a good, intense fruit aroma and a balanced ratio of sweetness to acidity. Currently super delicious.
Our sun-ripened, natural Navel oranges are not sorted by size. We ship small and larger fruits, as the trees produce them. The skin of the fruits glows a beautiful orange, but may still have green nuances in November/December. Only at low temperatures is the green chlorophyll broken down from the skins.
Why do Navel oranges have a small, internal fruit called the navel? The initial goal with this variety was to incorporate the seeds of the fruit into the navel and then cultivate it to be completely seedless. This has now been achieved. The so-called navel is also seedless nowadays.

We are one of the few producers who truly own and operate their own citrus plantation! From planting and caring for the trees, to harvesting the fruits, to shipping the fruits directly to your home.
What you can look forward to:
You will receive freshly harvested, sun-ripened, natural Navel oranges. Our citrus fruits ripen on the tree for up to over a year, depending on the variety. If you order today in our orange shop, the Navel oranges are still on our trees. The fruits are only harvested for your order.

To be clear again: the natural fruits we send you are generally not available at this stage of ripeness, without ethylene fumigation and toxic anti-mold dipping baths. And for good reason:
As producers, we lose a significant portion of our production due to late harvesting. Some fruits may not "make it" to transport, and you're also experiencing the delicate balance between ripe fruit and natural decay.
The taste, however, is convincing!
Be clear: You're ordering natural fruit, not industrial goods. We don't oppose the natural coexistence that should exist in an ecosystem. With us, you won't find a monoculture plantation, but rather a large "garden" in harmony with nature. An oasis for humans and animals. Therefore, it's important to store the fruit in a cool, dry place (1-6°C in the refrigerator).
