Lavender is a perennial herb that particularly prefers dry, calcareous, light, and well-drained soils. It also thrives at medium altitudes. As a medicinal and aromatic plant, lavender is versatile and a true all-rounder in the garden.
The dormancy of the lavender is broken by alternating temperatures between 20-30 °C, which optimally prepares the plant for germination.
