The prickly pear, also known as "opuntia," is a true delicacy from the arid regions of the world. Its bright yellow to red skin conceals sweet, refreshing flesh packed with vitamins and antioxidants. With its slightly sweet and delicately fruity flavor, the prickly pear is perfect for desserts, salads, or as an exotic snack.
Sweet and delicate in flavor. Cut the prickly pears lengthwise and scoop out the flesh. Or peel them and slice or dice them. An exotic delicacy.
A fruit that is not only delicious, but also a real eye-catcher!

Fresh prickly pears have small, fine spines, so be sure to handle them only with gloves! (gloves are included)
Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the thorns from the fruit, as they would not survive transport without preservatives.
500g contains approximately 6-8 pieces.

Here you buy directly from the farmer.
We are one of the few producers who actually own and cultivate our own prickly pear plantation!
From planting and caring for the cacti, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your home.
What can you look forward to:
You will receive freshly harvested, natural fruit with thorns.
