Delivery to Switzerland – how to order from Orangenfarm
Do you live in Switzerland and would like to order oranges, citrus fruits, or Portuguese groceries from Orangenfarm? You can do this even without direct shipping to Switzerland.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer direct shipping.
We will deliver your order to a German parcel collection point near the Swiss border. You can then pick up your package in person and take it with you into Switzerland.
To do this, first register with a parcel collection point of your choice to receive a German delivery address. You then enter this address as the delivery address when placing your order in our online shop.
In brief:
Swiss billing address → German parcel collection point as delivery address → Order from Orangenfarm → Collection in Germany → Transport to Switzerland.
One possible parcel collection point is, for example, Swiss Paket, which has several branches along the German-Swiss border. Alternatively, you are of course welcome to use any other provider of your choice.
How to place your order
The process is straightforward:
1. Register with a parcel collection point
First, choose a provider or a conveniently located parcel collection point in Germany and register there.
Please complete the registration before placing your order with us so that you have the full delivery address and—depending on the provider—your personal customer number.
2. Order from Orangenfarm
Then proceed to place your order as usual in our online shop.
As the delivery address, enter the German address of your parcel collection point exactly as it was provided to you by the respective provider. Make sure to include any customer or identification number that may be required.
For the billing address, you continue to use your own address in Switzerland.
3. We ship your order to Germany
Your order will be shipped by us to the specified parcel collection point, just like a regular order within Germany.
Our standard shipping terms and costs for Germany apply.
4. Collect your package
Once your order has arrived at the parcel collection point, you will be notified accordingly, depending on the provider you chose.
You can then collect your order there and take it with you into Switzerland.
Please check with the respective provider in advance regarding their current fees, storage periods, opening hours, and terms and conditions.
Example: Delivery with Swiss Paket
One option is Swiss Paket. The provider operates several parcel collection points directly on the German-Swiss border.
After registering with Swiss Paket, you will receive your personal customer number and the delivery address intended for your chosen branch.
Important: Be sure to provide your customer number with the delivery address according to Swiss Paket's requirements. This is the only way the arriving package can be clearly assigned to your customer account.
Registration with Swiss Paket is currently free of charge. Fees apply for receiving or storing the respective shipment and are settled directly with Swiss Paket.

Fortex Kurierdienst

The choice is entirely up to you. Please contact the respective provider directly for information on registration, delivery address, fees, opening hours, and collection terms.
Important information regarding VAT
Since your order will be delivered by us to a German delivery address, we will charge the VAT applicable to orders within Germany.
Subsequent reimbursement of VAT by us does not occur and is not supported by us.
Please take this into account before placing your order.
Import into Switzerland
By collecting your order in Germany, you assume responsibility for the onward transport of your order into Switzerland.
Please observe the applicable Swiss import, customs, and duty-free allowance regulations. Depending on the value of the goods and the type of products ordered, duties or other formalities may be required upon import into Switzerland.
The verification and compliance with these regulations are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please ensure the delivery address is correct
It is particularly important that you enter the delivery address of your parcel collection point in our online shop completely and exactly according to their specifications.
This includes in particular:
- Your full name
- The correct address of the parcel collection point
- Your customer or identification number, if required by the provider
Missing or incorrect information may result in a shipment not being identifiable or deliverable.
Summary
Switzerland → Select a German parcel collection point → Register there → Receive a German delivery address → Place an order with us → Collect the package in Germany → Import it yourself into Switzerland.
This way, our customers in Switzerland can also continue to order oranges, citrus fruits, and many other Portuguese specialties from us, even though we do not offer direct shipping to Switzerland.
