Pure garden bliss – Everything for your green paradise

Gartenwoche

Natural garden care and beautiful outdoor ideas

A garden is far more than just a place where plants grow. It is a place to relax, enjoy and observe nature. Especially in a time when everything is getting faster and faster, many people are rediscovering the joy of having their own vegetable patch, flowering herbs or a lovingly designed balcony. You don't necessarily need a large garden. Just a few planters, a raised bed or a sunny balcony are enough to create a small green paradise.

Our garden week is dedicated to natural gardening, practical helpers and beautiful ideas for home and garden.

The joy of DIY

There is hardly anything more beautiful than watching a strong plant grow from a small seed. The first green shoots in spring, the first blossoms and finally your own harvest make up the special appeal of gardening. Those who sow their own herbs, vegetables or flowers experience nature very consciously and are rewarded with fresh ingredients and many small moments of happiness.

Our garden week therefore focuses on the numerous organic seed varieties from Sementes Vivas. Whether aromatic herbs, colourful flowers, crunchy vegetables or traditional varieties - the open-pollinated seeds come from organic farming and help to preserve old varieties and natural diversity. At the same time, many flowering plants and herbs offer valuable food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Inspiration from the South

In Portugal, gardening has been part of everyday life for generations. Fresh herbs, peppers, tomatoes or flowers often grow directly next to the house, in the courtyard or on small terraces. Even in limited spaces, green oases are created that are not only useful, but also reflect the Mediterranean way of life.

Typical of many Portuguese gardens are light natural stones, gravel areas and low-maintenance beds. With the white decorative stones, Mediterranean accents can also be set in your own garden or on the terrace. They are ideal for designing planters, paths or decorative areas and at the same time ensure a well-kept appearance.

Natural gardening in harmony with nature

More and more hobby gardeners value a conscious approach to nature. Instead of chemical agents, natural helpers and strengthening plants are in the foreground. Because healthy and strong plants are the best basis for a successful harvest.

These include, for example, our Neem combi-pack: the plant strengthener for powdery mildew or just Neem oil & emulsifier ready-mix. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) has also been valued by garden lovers for many years and used in many ways. Often it is precisely these simple and natural solutions that make everyday gardening easier and support the balance in the garden.

The right helpers make many things easier

Gardening is particularly enjoyable when the right tools are at hand. With the robust anvil secateurs, branches, shrubs and withered plant parts can be cut effortlessly. The practical pressure sprayer with a one-litre capacity is ideal for applying plant strengtheners or natural spray solutions.

But it's not just the plants that need to be cared for. Conservatories, terraces and garden furniture also deserve attention. The glass cleaning cloth and the large yellow microfibre cloth ensure streak-free shine and help to keep windows, glass surfaces and other surfaces clean and well-maintained.

A garden slows you down

While everyday life is often characterised by hustle and bustle, nature follows its own rhythm. Seeds need time to germinate, plants time to grow and fruits time to ripen. It is precisely this peace and patience that makes gardening so appealing to many people.

A few minutes among fragrant herbs, blooming flowers or young vegetable plants can feel like a small break. The garden becomes a place where you can unwind, recharge your batteries and perceive the small things more consciously again.

Sharing garden knowledge and experiencing it together

Gardening connects generations. Many experiences and traditional tips are passed on by parents and grandparents and supplemented with new insights every season. Whether sowing, harvesting or simply marveling at the first blossoms together - the joy of nature can be wonderfully shared with family, friends or neighbors. This creates not only healthy plants, but also beautiful memories that last.

Enjoying together

A garden is not only a place for work, but also a place for shared moments. As soon as the temperatures rise, the terrace and garden become the centre of family life. Friends come to visit, children play outside and a beautiful summer evening quickly turns into a cosy get-together.

Of course, the grill should not be missing. With the quick-lighting charcoal, an uncomplicated start to the barbecue evening is guaranteed, so that more time remains for the essentials: enjoying together.

A hobby for every season

Gardening does not end with summer. In spring, sowing begins, in summer, care and harvesting are in focus, in autumn, harvesting and preparation take place, and in winter, anticipation for the coming season already builds up.

Perhaps this is precisely the special fascination of gardening. It accompanies us throughout the year, connects us with nature and shows that something big can grow from small seeds with a little patience. We want to share exactly this joy with you during our garden week - with high-quality organic seeds, natural helpers and many small things that make your home and garden even more beautiful.
