White wine Reserva DOC, Douro / Planalto / Vinho branco reserva, 750ml

Planalto is the white wine in Portuguese gastronomy. In Wein-Spectator, Planalto was rated 89 out of 100 possible points.
A light, straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, a fine, intense and complex bouquet of citrus fruits, melon and pear, tropical fruits such as passion fruit and pineapple and slightly mineral notes. Very harmonious on the palate with fine acidity.
Grape varieties: 60% Viosinho, 20% Malvasia Fina, 10% Gouveio, 10% Códega,
Soil: predominantly granite soil.
Flavor type: dry
With a serving temperature of 8-10°C, it is a pleasant companion on beautiful summer days.

The term Reserva refers to red wines that have to mature for a full three years, i.e. 36 months, before being sold - at least twelve months of which in oak barrels. The wine can spend the rest of the time in the bottle. As a rule, the time in the barrel is longer than the aging time in the bottle.
