What does Tulsi mean in English?
Tulsi is often referred to as Tulasi or holy basil and is closely related to our spice basil. This special type of basil is said to have very special effects.

Tastes strong and aromatic. Tulsi is traditionally brewed as a tea in India. The herb tastes pure or with other flavors such as ginger and has a slightly peppery, bitter-sweet note.

    Tea preparation:
    1 teaspoon of dried herb in 250 ml of water. Pour boiling water over the herb and let it steep, covered, for 10 minutes, then strain.
    Also very suitable for gargling.
