Limes / Lima, Kg
Limes / Lima, Kg is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The little sister of the lemon has many uses in the kitchen. The color is almost always green because the fruits are in peak season in late summer. Only at the end of the season do they turn yellow as the temperatures get colder.
Limes have a green-yellow, thin peel and are quite small with a diameter of 4-6 cm. The fruits are egg-shaped to round. The flesh of the sour lime is pale green and has an aromatic, fruity-sour taste and is usually juicier than that of the lemon. Kernels are rarely found.
Here you buy directly from the farmer.
We are one of the few producers who actually own and work their own citrus plantation! From planting and caring for the trees, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your home.
What can you look forward to:
You get freshly harvested, natural limes. If you order here in the shop today, the fruit will still be hanging on our trees. The fruits are only harvested for your order.
