The prickly pear, also known as the "opuntia," is a true delicacy from the world's arid regions. Its bright yellow to red skin conceals a sweet, refreshing flesh full of vitamins and antioxidants. With its slightly sweet and delicately fruity flavor, the prickly pear is perfect for desserts, salads, or as an exotic snack.
The taste is sweet and delicate. Cut the prickly pears lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Or peel them, slice them, or dice them. An exotic delicacy.
A fruit that is not only delicious but also a real eye-catcher!

The fresh prickly pears have small, fine spines, so be sure to use gloves when preparing them!
Unfortunately, it is not possible to desthorn the fruits, as they would not survive transport without preservatives.
500g contains approx. 6-8 pieces.

Here you buy directly from the farmer.
We are one of the few producers who actually own and operate our own prickly pear orchard! From planting and caring for the cacti, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your door.
What can you look forward to:
You get freshly harvested, natural fruits with thorns.
