The clams are a type of mussel that prefers to live buried in the sand of the beach in the intertidal zone. They are extracted manually. In the factory we keep the mussels fresh and alive. They are steam cooked at 100ºC for a few minutes and then separated from their shells. The mussels are then hand-washed several times by the employees in large basins with purified sea water.
Note: use opened can on the same day.
