This is made by hand according to old recipes from selected pork in natural casings.
Perfect to complement your cold cuts platters, accompany your favorite cheeses and enjoy a good red wine.
Fuet with truffle is a thin, air-dried type of hard or long-lasting sausage that is related to salami and is matured in edible natural casings for a good 4 weeks. Typical of this sausage is its comparatively soft consistency and its sweet taste, which also comes from maturing with the noble mold.
Traditionally, the wafer-thin, edible natural casing is left with the fine mold and the Fuet Extra is served cut into wafer-thin slices.
