The "original" clear spirit made from the fruits of the increasingly rare strawberry tree. The fruit itself looks similar to a strawberry, hence the German name strawberry tree. It is red in color, has a slightly prickly surface, is light yellow inside and has a floury consistency, but has a sweet taste. The brandy is 42% vol and has a unique, unmistakable, warm-fruity taste.
The fruits of the strawberry tree come from wild growth, a region without any industry. A pure, uncontaminated natural product.
