The meadowsweet herb is a water-loving bank plant that originally comes from Europe and usually grows on moist stream banks and lakes. The typical taste of meadow herb is quite bitter, even if the scent has a pleasant vanilla note.

    Pour 1 teaspoon (1 to 2 g) of the meadowsweet herb into 1 cup (150 ml) of boiling hot water. Let the tea steep for 10 to 15 minutes before straining the herb through a tea strainer.
