Not all pineapples are the same! With the Angola pineapple you have a TOP fruit.

These fruits cannot be compared with other pineapple fruits. Wonderfully sweet, fully ripe, with an acid content that doesn't make you sour, but gives the fruit a wonderful freshness.

After 18 months of ripening, the pulp has a delicious scent and taste. It takes at least a year for the pineapple to bloom and produce new fruit, and in most cases even 3-4 years. Once the pineapple has bloomed, it needs about six months before the fruit sets.

If the fruit is ripe, the color should be between golden yellow and brown. A hint of green is also possible if the wine is well ripe.
What makes the fruit so extraordinary is its protein-breaking enzyme bromelain, which is abundant.
In addition to the aromatic substances, the pineapple contains valuable minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and fructose as a carbohydrate source. It is rich in trace elements such as manganese, iron, copper and zinc.

A notice:
The fruit can become moldy at the bottom of the cut on the stem, even if we treat the cut with baking soda.
It is the escaping plant sap that molds but does not penetrate the fruit.
