The oranges have a good, intense fruit aroma and a balanced ratio between sweetness and acidity.
Our sun-ripened, naturally grown Navel oranges are not sorted by size. We ship a mix of small and large fruits, just as the trees produce. The peel of the fruit is a beautiful orange, but may still have greenish hues in November/December. The green chlorophyll in the peel only breaks down at low temperatures.
Why do Navel oranges have a small, internal fruit called the navel? The initial goal with this variety was to incorporate the fruit's seeds into the navel and then breed it to be completely seedless. This has now been achieved. Even the so-called navel is now seedless.

We are one of the few producers who actually own and cultivate our own citrus plantation! From planting and caring for the trees, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your home.
What can you look forward to:
You'll receive freshly harvested, sun-ripened, and completely natural Navel oranges. Depending on the variety, our citrus fruits ripen on the tree for up to a year or more. If you order today from our orange shop, the Navel oranges will still be on our trees. The fruit will only be harvested specifically for your order.

To be clear again: the natural fruits we send you are generally not available at this stage of ripeness, without ethylene fumigation and toxic anti-mold dipping baths. And for good reason:
As producers, we lose a significant portion of our production due to late harvesting. Some fruits may not "make it" to transport, and you're also experiencing the delicate balance between ripe fruit and natural decay.
The taste, however, is convincing!
Be clear: You're ordering natural fruit, not industrial goods. We don't oppose the natural coexistence that should exist in an ecosystem. With us, you won't find a monoculture plantation, but rather a large "garden" in harmony with nature. An oasis for humans and animals. Therefore, it's important to store the fruit in a cool, dry place (1-6°C in the refrigerator).
