Coarse sea salt, in a glass mill / Sal grosso em moinho, 110g is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The salt comes from a traditional saltworks in the ecologically controlled Ria Formosa nature reserve in the Algarve in Portugal, with good water quality.
The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is home to various species of birds, such as flamingo, oystercatcher, spoon-eared bat, ibis and heron. This salt is scooped by hand in the traditional way, as it was in Roman times. Mechanical means are not used in either harvesting or cultivation. The only aid allowed is a wooden rake and - "man power".
Ideal for the kitchen and for grilling. For all dishes, in a practical refillable spice jar with a transparent mill.
