Green tea Lung Ching, dragon well tea / Chá verde Lung Ching, 50g is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Latin: Green tea dragon fountain,
Botanical: Camellia sinensis L.
One of the most popular and well-known teas in China, hand-picked and processed, mild and clear in taste. Barely bitter.
Lung Ching's unique leaves are flat, emerald green, smooth and elongated.
Hand-harvested from the steep slopes of Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province, the tea is heated in cast-iron pans to prevent oxidation.
The sheet is turned by hand for about 15 minutes. Only then is the tea rolled, dried and flattened.
The result of this complex process tastes sweet, fresh, aromatic and has a sweet note. The tea infusion is initially orange in color and then changes to jade green as it is steeped.
