The lime is the little sister of the lemon – aromatic, tangy and with a slightly exotic taste that makes it a true all-rounder in the kitchen.
With its typically green peel, a diameter of 4–6 cm, and pale green, juicy-tart flesh, the lime is a refreshing ingredient for drinks, desserts, and savory dishes. It rarely contains seeds and is usually juicier than lemons.
